ALBANY — The graveside funeral service of Minnie D. Cox, 84, of Albany, died Friday, December 19, 2003 at Tift Health Care in Tifton, will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery.
A native of Worth County, GA, Mrs. Cox had resided in Albany for over 60 years before her residence at Tift Health Care. She was a homemaker, the widow of Robbie Lee Cox and was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Chris Cox and Wayne Cox, both of Lee County, Bill Cox of McDonough, Donald Cox of Griffin, and Ray Cox of Albany; four daughters, Louise Germany of Lee County, Geraldine Bullington and Rachel Tharpe, both of Albany and Bobbie Deaver of Dalton; and 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence of Wayne and Valerie Cox, 121 Country Drive, Leesburg.
