W. D. "Dub" Greenhaw, 68, Athens, died Tuesday at an Athens hospital.


The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with burial in Athens City Cemetery.


Mr. Greenhaw, a former member of the Athens City Council, was the former owner of Dub's Burgers. He was a deacon at the First Christian Church and Limestone County coordinator for former Gov. George C. Wallace.


Survivors include his wife, Edna Greenhaw; two sons, John Greenhaw of Athens and Dexter Greenhaw of Mobile; two daughters, Jean Sharpe and Jane Patterson, both of Athens; his mother, Erline Greenhaw of Athens; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
