Henry C. Blacker, 80, retired farmer and lifelong resident of this county died Sunday, July 20, 1947 at his home. Services were held at Evangelical United Brethren Church, White Heath with burial in Monticello cemetery.

Mr. Blacker was born December 2, 1866 near Monticello, s/o John and Sarah Blacker. He was married in February 1891 to Nannie Thompson.

She survives long with a son, Troy of White Heath; and three daughters: Mrs. Nellie Alexander, White Heath; Mrs. Elsie Wrench, Monticello; and Mrs. Henrietta Fosnaugh, Anchorage, Alabama. He also leaves two brothers: Charles of Monticello; and Arthur of Hicksville OH; 21 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
