LINWOOD Darlene M. Krenk, 76, of Linwood, died Nov. 2. Krenk was born on July 8, 1932, to Theodore "Ted" and Albina (Brtek) Sedlacek at Bruno. She attended
District 28 country school and graduated from East Butler in 1950. She married Clarence Krenk on June 14, 1956 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Bruno. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Abie, St. Peter and Paul
Altar Society and Legion Auxiliary Post 273 in Brainard.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Ben Rerucha.
She is survived by her
husband; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Nancy Krenk of Lafayette, Ind., Galen and Renae Krenk of David City; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Brian Schoenhofer of Springhill, Kan.; sister, Nadine Rerucha of Lincoln;
grandchildren, Christian, Kevin, Corbin, Azch, Micah, Simon and Darian Krenk and Ashley and Trevor Schoenhofer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m.
on Friday, Nov. 7 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Abie. Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 6 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Chermok Funeral Home; after 6 p.m. at the church followed by a 7 p.m. rosary; and 1 hour before the funeral on Friday at the church. Burial will be at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery at Abie. Memorials may be made to St. Peter and Paul Building Fund, Aquinas
