Relda first married Clifford Parker who died in a coal mine accident in in Middlesboro, KY in August, 1936. I know she still owned property in Middlesboro when she passed away and had previously lived there). She next married Jess Poore who was older and he died several years later. Bertie Fielden Rouse along with his brother, David (Melon) Rouse, sons of William Franklin (Burnett) & Rachel C Seals Rouse, built and operated Rouses Store located at the junction of Ridge Road & Leadmine Bend Roads in Sharps Chapel, TN from 1926-1960.In 1960 James (Jim) Rouse & his brother Palmer Bitt Rouse took over the store and operated it until 1966 when Jim's mother-in-law, Relda Hopper Parker Bryant and her husband Rev.William B Bryant ran it until it closed.The old red store is still standing.

BRYANT, RELDA O. - age 95 of Sharps Chapel, passed away January 15, 2010. She was a member of the Taylors Grove Baptist Church and the daughter of the late, Lonnie and Emma Housley Hopper; also late husband, Cliff Parker, Jes Poore and Rev. Bill Bryant. Survivors: daughter, Mary E. (Billie) Rouse; grandchildren, Clifford Rouse, Phyllis and husband, Donald Tharpe all of Sharps Chapel; great grandchildren, Mindy and husband, Joe Grimm of Maynardville, Donnie Tharpe of Knoxville; several nieces, nephews, cousins; several special brother and sisters in law. Funeral 1 p.m. Monday Cooke Chapel, Rev. Jerry Peck officiating. Interment Taylors Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday evening 5-7 p.m. www.cookemortuary.com
