Clifford Marker Dies at Age 75
Clifford C. Maker, 75, a retired city employee, died early this morning at a St. Joseph hospital, where he had been a patient about two weeks. He had been failing health for some time. The family home is at 1202 Powell street.
Born at Easton, Mr. Marker was the son of George and Cynthia Graves Marker, pioneers in that area.
Mr. Marker, a resident of St. Joseph most of his life, was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Eagles Lodge. He had held state jobs in years past.
Survivors include, his wife, Mrs. Blanche Marker; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Crouse, St. Joseph, and Mrs. Georgia Holmes, LeRoy, Kan., and several nieces and nephews.
The body is at the Heaton /Bowman mortuary pending service arrangements.
