Amalia T. Medina, 87, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2001, as the result of an accident.
She was born in Chico, NM., the daughter of Severiano and Maria Luz Trujillo.
She is survived by her six children, Alice Vigil of Bluewater, NM., Joe and Marina Medina of Albuquerque, Helen Rivera and husband, Eliseo of Albuquerque, Roger Medina and wife, Patti of San Marcos, CA., Eleanor Hutchins and husband, Gary of San Marcos, CA., Maxine Qualls and husband, Bill of Fallbrook, CA.. Amalia is also survived by 16 grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Severiano Trujillo of Springer, NM., Frank Trujillo and wife, Peta of Rocky Ford, CO., Rumaldo Trujillo and wife, Emily of Springer, NM.; sister, Terry Griffin and husband, Jay of Springer; and many nieces and nephews and friends who loved and will miss her.
Memorial Services will be held at St. Joseph Parish in Springer, NM. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2001. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2001, with Fr. John Brasher, Celebrant. Burial will follow at the Family Ranch Cemetery in Chico, NM.
