Born March 19, 1925 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Elder Ray and Ira Bell (Carter) Joyce, she attended New Lima
schools.
Estell married Fred Sanders, July 19, 1940 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2007.
She was a Member of First Free Will Baptist Church of
Wewoka. She formerly worked for Muirs Quick Meals, Big Yank, and Edna Looney's Craft Store. She worked a number of years for Wewoka Schools as a Cook. In her spare time she loved setting on her porch, visiting with family and friends. She loved to read and take care of people and her Church Family. She was a wonderful person and will be missed by her family and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, son Alvie Sanders, brothers, Denver ,Marvin, Johnny, Raymond, and Jack Joyce , Sisters Ora Lee Tarpley, Sunny Andrews, and Mary Sherrin.
Survivors include: Daughters, Sue Smith of Wewoka: Linda Sanderson (husband)Larry of Wewoka, Rita Orr (husband)
Victor of Choctaw.
Grandsons: Johnny Orr, Mark Sanders, Todd Sanders, Rusty
Smith, and Mitch Smith.
Granddaughters: Cindy Nix, Andi Hair, Christy Weaver, Amy
Brannan, and Kim Paris.
Twenty-two great-grandchildren and eight Great-great-grandchildren.
