Mrs. Spicey Viannah Bronson, 93, prominent pioneer Kissimmee resident, died Sunday after a long illness. She was the widow of the late George C. Bronson, founder of Bronson's Inc. Cattle and Land Interests and mother of former State Senator Irlo Bronson Sr, present president of the concern.

Born in Osceola County in the Shingle Creek community, a daughter of E. L. D. Overstreet and Spicey Reeves Overstreet, she had lived in the area all her life. Devoted to her church, she was one of the oldest members of the First United Methodist Church of Kissimmee and was active for many years in the Women's Society of Christian Service.

She was a member of the Kissimmee Women's Club and the Garden Club.
