03/21/1919 - John A PLETCHER of Elkhart, age 74, a well known resident of this county for over 40 years died yesterday at his home of a complication of diseases after an illness of 10 days. A son, Corporal Tarquin PLETCHER is a member of the American Expeditionary Forces and has not been heard from for over a month. The funeral services will be held Sat afternoon at the First Evangelical Church with Rev. E W Praetorius officiating.
