Myers, John S. -- JOHN S. MYERS, an old resident of Worthington Township , residing about one and a half miles south of Independence , retired to his bed last Sunday night feeling as well as usual. His aged wife on arising and striking a light Monday morning, discovered that her Husband's spirit had gone during the night to a better world than this. He was a kind father, a good husband, and loved and respected by all of his neighbors.

Myers, John S. -- FOUND DEAD -- Special report to the Star -- North Liberty , O., Nov 25. – Jno. S. Myers, an aged citizen living about one mile north of this place, was found dead in bed on this morning. Supposed cause of death, stroke of palsy, he is supposed to have been dead for several hours before any one knew it.
