He was born, September 23, 1939, the son of the late Merlin & Maxie June Cole Mullins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the late Olive Mullins; two brothers, William Carl Mullins and Cline Hardy Mullins; two sisters, Glo Duel Mullins and Palestine Bolger
He is survived by one son, Claude H. Mullins Jr. of Yerkes; two step-sons, Rodney Mosley of McDowell, Keith Mosley of Ashtabula, Ohio, one stepdaughter, Linda Sue Hall of Topmost; one brother, David Clive Mullins, of Atlanta, Ga.; five daughters: Billie Pauline Jones, of Kingsport, Tenn., Helen Jean Bolger, of Cleveland, Ohio, Mary Jarrell, of Martin, Brenda Gail Reynolds of Martin; and a loving host of grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, at Martin.
Burial followed in the Greenbury Hall Cemetery, at McDowell.
Arrangements were under the direction of Nelson- Frazier Funeral Home, at Martin.
