Mrs. Cherry died at 2:15 a.m. Friday, May 18, 1982, in Panola Nursing Home, Carthage.
Born Feb. 23, 1907, in Cherokee County, she was a housewife and a resident of Carthage approximately 20 months after moving from Dallas.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dallas.
Survivors include two brothers, Jesse W. Holcomb of Carthage and Floyd K. Holcomb of Madisonville; five sisters, Verna Black of Alto, Josie Eddington of Many, La., Carrie Alice Harris of Dallas, Virginia Sue Allen of Pearland and Helen Gillentine of Fort Worth.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
