He was survived by sons, Thomas Jefferson Irvin, Poteau, Oklahoma, George W. Irvin, Roswell, New Mexico, Robert Osborn Irvin, Oklahoma, and Clarence E. "Hap" Irvin, Roswell, New Mexico; and daughters, Myrtle Ophilya Magee Hutchinson, Mountain Park, Oklahoma, Gay Nell Clark, Alfalfa, Oklahoma, and Beaulah Cordelia Greear, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Irvin, on March 4, 1918, two infant children, and a son, Granville Irvin, in 1915.
