SAMANTHA SPEARS DIED LAST NIGHT
Had Been Seriously Ill For Some Time
Mrs. Samantha Spears died at her residence on Center street about 8 olock last night after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Spears death was due to a complication of diseases. She had been in a serious condition for several days and little hope was held out for her recovery.
Mrs. Spears was seventy-one years old at the time of her death. She has been a resident of Catlettsburg for the past twenty-eight years and was well and favorably known throughout the city.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Spears, one son, Tom Spears of Catlettsburg and the following daughters, Mrs. Loyd Bullington of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. G. C. Spicer and Mrs. A. J. Eakir of Catlettsburg. Five sisters, four brothers and three grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted from the late residence on Center street Sunday. Burial will be made in the Catlettsburg Cemetery.
