Beatrice E. Coplin, 75, of Olivet died Sept. 12, 1995, at the Springhill Manor Nursing Home, Battle Creek, after an extended illness.
Mrs. Coplin was born in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of George and Estella (Lempke) North, and had been an Olivet resident since the mid 1940s coming from Coldwater. Many years ago she had worked as a nurses aide at Leila Hospital, Battle Creek. Since that time she has been a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ernest Coplin of Olivet; one sister, Bernice Bennett of Charlotte; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were Sept. 15 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Chapel, Charlotte, with the Pastor Scott Brood officiating. Interment was in the Bosworth Cemetery, Charlotte.
