Clyde Bankhead, 87, of Cunningham died Friday, Feb. 11, 1994, in McCuistion Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, in the Life Tabernacle Church in Cunningham with the Rev. Tony Corso and the Rev. Don Whitt officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery in Cunningham under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
Mr. Bankhead was born May 29, 1906, in Bug Tussle, a son of John William and Eliza Bell Littrell Bankhead.
He married Thelma Watson Oct. 8, 1928, in Minter.
He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife; two sons and daughters-in-law, Erma and Loyd Marshall of Fort Worth and Gerri and Clyde Elmer Bankhead of Cunningham; two daughters and sons-in-law, Melba and Buddy Holbert of Lubbock and Elaine and Roy Wheeler of Denver; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Law Odis Watson of Cunningham; and a sister, Mrs. Audie Reed of Canton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Mike Marshall, Brian Marshall, Robby Holbert, Jerry Don Holbert, Justin Wheeler, Jerrod Bankhead, Chance Bankhead and Edd Pascasio.
Named as honorary pallbearers are Frankie Norwood, Scotty Norwood, Johnny Musgrove, Pete McKnight, Billy Joe Oats, Allen Gifford and James Norwood.
