Alexander is the father of Samuel Bard, husband of Nancy Peck. They are buried in Herkimer Co. He married Abigail Peck, sister to Rev. Abijah Peck in Greenwich, CT. in 1789. In 1800 he was on the Half Moon census. After his death, by drowning while crossing the Mohawk river at Forts Ferry, his wife moved on to Herkimer Co., NY. His grave is in the C08 section. His gravestone had been searched for previously and is now finally found as seen at right. His birth date needs to be verified.
