The following is from the Colorado Springs, CO "Gazette Telegraph" issue of Saturday Feb 1, 1969:
"Melford Keith Clark Last Rites Monday
Funeral services for Melford (Keith) Clark, 50, 309 Valley Road, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Blunt Mortuary with the Rev. Phil Green of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Vale Cemetery in Canon City.
Born Oct. 9, 1918, in Alma, Mr. Clark spent most of his life in that city where he was associated with South London Mine. He lived in California for five years prior to coming to Colorado Springs three years ago.
Mr. Clark died Thursday.
He was married Dec. 25, 1960 in Tijuana, Mexico, and his widow, Mrs. Helen J. Clark, survives.
Other survivors include a daughter Kathleen Clark, Colorado Srings; a step-son, Rocky Shockley, Colorado Springs; his mother, Mrs. Faye Trentham, Denver; three brothers, Jack Trentham, Sacramento, Calif., Bert Trentham, Sacramento and Ron Trentham, San Diego, Calif.; several nieces and nephews.
