Death of Isaac Roberts Who Is well Known In Parkersburg - Occurred Last Night At His Home At Saulsbury This County.
Isaac Roberts died Sunday evening about seven 0'clock at his home near Saulsbury, this county. The cause of his demise was Bright's disease. He was sixty-seven years of age. The deceased was a veteran of the Civil War having fought in the ranks of the Union. For many years he had been engaged in farming. He was a man of many sterling traits of character, and his death is a great loss to the community in which he resided. Mr. Roberts had a number of relatives in this city, and was exceptionally well known in Parkersburg and his local friends deeply deplore his demise. The deceased is survived by his wife and the following children: James M., C. E., J. W., and J. T. Roberts, of this city; George Roberts, of Volcano; F. A. , Otto and Fleet Roberts, of Saulsbury; Mrs. Mintie Phillips of Saulsbury, and Miss Ica Roberts of Saulsbury. The funeral services will be conducted from the family residence Tuesday afternoon at three o'clock. Interment will be made in the Stephens cemetery at Saulsbury. A large number of local people will attend the funeral.
