Lorna Bagley Moore, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, returned to our Heavenly Father on October 28, 2008 after a mercifully short struggle with AML.

Lorna was the epitome of sacrifice. Her family meant everything to her, and she was always willing to give whatever she had to nurture and support them. She raised her family in the gospel, and saw her three children marry in the temple and two sons serve missions. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy. Lorna earned a Masters degree in Special Education from the University of Utah. Her career as a social worker exemplified her ability to love and nurture. Her work with the mentally handicapped won her many dear friends. She touched the hearts of many, and will be sorely missed.

Lorna is survived by two brothers, Steve (Larene) Bagley, and Kent (Sherylin) Bagley; a sister, Nancy Bagley; sons, Jeffrey (Lisa) Moore, James (Kim) Moore; daughter, Holly (Dean) Welch; and 11 grandchildren. Lorna was preceded in death by her parents, Stuart L. and Lucille Bagley.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Holladay South Stake Center, 4917 South Viewmont Street (2200 East), where friends may visit with the family from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
