In the History of Central Oregon, Charles Bolsby states he came to Crook County in 1884. He married Lilly Delore who was born in Dufur, Oregon and the household was blessed with two children; Edith and Iva P. Lily died January 25, 1892. (should be 1902)

Iva Pearl Morris, 69, Redmond, funeral services will be held Friday at Powell Butte Community Christain Church. Burial will be in Redmond Memorial Cemetery. She died Tuesday at Central Oregon Hospital. Born July 3, 1898 in Suplee, she came to Redmond 13 years ago from Millican.

Survivors are her husband, Newt and, a daughter, Viola Lowe, both of Redmond; a granddaughter, Andrea Draun, great granddaughter, Heidi Anne Draun, both of Salem, and a half-sister, May Graham, Cosmopolis, Wash.

Iva was born to Charles Bolsby(Bowlsby) and Lillian Delore. Her mother would pass away when Iva was just two years old and father would remarry Julia Allen who had one daughter, Kathleen. Charles and Julia would have one daughter, May. Iva's sister would pass away at the age of 28 and be buried in the same cemetery as her mother in Suplee. Father Charles would come to visit Iva when he passed away and is buried in Bend, Oregon in the Greenwood cemetery. In the History of Central Oregon and in almost all census Charles name is spelled Bolsby, on his tombstone its spelled Bowlsby.
