Died of a brain hemorrhage. Obituary states that she died of heart failure. However, her family states that when the doctor arrived to her residence, she was already dead. There was no autopsy done according to death certificate. Cause of death listed on death certificate: She was dead before I got there. Bertha had been complaining of severe headaches prior to her death. It was told to the newspaper that she died of heart failure before it was asked of family since the doctor who arrived on the scene had no answer immediately.
