Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Birdwell, Mishawaka, Indiana, were killed and their two children injured tonight when their car struck a New York Central freight train at a crossing here.
The children, Sandra, 4, and Tommy, 2, were in fair condition at the St. Joseph's Hospital.
