Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Dunn Church of God for Mrs. Dora Ainsworth, 83, of Monroe, who died early Saturday in a Monroe hospital. Interment was in the Coax Cemetery near Baskin, under direction of Gay's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ainsworth was the mother of Mrs. Ella Adams of Epps, and a sister of Jack Hemphill, Mrs. Jennie Bell Bradley, and Mrs. Altha Scruggs, all of Oak Grove. Survivors also include two other daughters, Mrs. Olivia Leggett of Brookhaven, Miss., Mrs. Merlie Adams of Monroe; a son, the Rev. A.F. Ainsworth of Houston, Texas; another sister, Mrs. Mary Mason of Bell Flower, Calif.; three other brothers, T.C. Hemphill of Shelby Miss., Hopson Hemphill of Little Rock, Ark., and S.L. Hemphill of Tylertown, Miss.
