Elva A. Hummel, 61, of Cedar Haven, formerly of Racehorse Drive, Jonestown, died Tuesday, February 13, 2007, in The Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Eddie L. Hummel with whom she was married to for 41 years. She was born May 6, 1945, in Lebanon to the late Paul M. and Mary Gensler Hoke. She was a 1963 graduate of Cornwall High School. She was a member of the Bunker Hill Evangelical Congregational Church. In her younger years, she played the organ and piano at the Rocherty United Methodist Church and was active with their youth group. Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Joella R. Wilson, Mount Gretna, Eddlie L. Hummel Jr. and wife Tiffany Hummel, Bethel; Carolyn R., wife of Raymond Link, Middletown, Del.; eight grandchildren; brothers, Frank, husband of Elizabeth Hoke, Shippensburg, Richard, husband of Diana Hoke, Jonestown, Warren Hoke, Lebanon. Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Rohland Funeral Home, Fit and Cumberland streets, Lebanon, with a viewing beginning on Monday at 1 p.m. Interment will be made in the Bunker Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Bunker Hill ECC Sunday School, Route 72 North and Church Road, Lebanon, PA 17046. Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 2/16/2007
