Curtis M. Albright

Curtis M. Albright, Spring Grove RD 3, died Monday evening at the Hanover General Hospital. He was 77.
Born in Codorus Township, he was a son of the late Amos and Alice Miller Albright. He was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Church. He had been a resident of Spring Grove for the past 14 years.
He was a 1923 graduate of Gettysburg College and taught school for 27 years. He retired from the Spring Grove School District after teaching in Codorus Township, Manheim Township, and West Manheim Township.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Kessler Albright; one son, Rodger Albright, Harleysville, Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. Lucile Leister, 457 Heintzelman Ave., Chambersburg; Mrs. Marian Hartlaub, York RD 10; and Mrs. Donna Staub, Hanover RD 3; one brother, Ira M. Albright, 122 Fair Ave.; one sister, Mrs. Anna Walker, York Street; and 13 grandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Burial will be in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church, with the Rev. Thomas L. White officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
