He resided in Cumberland County, Maine prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on November 4, 1942 in Portland, Maine. He was noted as being employed as a mechanic and also as Married.

Glenn died in the "Line Of Duty" when the B-24 he was on, which was being delivered from the U.S. to North Africa, experienced engine trouble and crashed into the Atlas Mountains in Algeria. The entire crew was killed in this crash.
