BASKIN (Special) — Funeral services for Hillard H. Reese, 93, of Baskin were held at 3 p.m. today in the Baskin Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Shepherd officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. L. P. Lee.
Burial was in the Coax Cemetery under the direction of First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. Reese died Saturday night at the Rosalie Nursing Home in Wisner following a lengthy illness.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. C. A. Lewis of Chase, Mrs. Albert Stonehart of Sterlington, and Mrs. Bernice Burton of Monroe; three sons, John Henry Reese of Kansas City, Mo., Frellson Reese of Mangham and Coyle Reese of Baskin; two brothers, Sam and George Reese, both of Arcadia; one sister, Mrs. Ida L. Guy of Wetumpka, Ala.; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
