Annie Mary's (sometimes shown as Mary Ann or Marianne) roots are elusive. What we do know is her mother's name was Portia. She was born in Feb 1816 and was living with Annie and Louis at age 84 in the 1900 census in Fairfield. Her last name was Manly or possibly Mauly in that census. I have seen George (Marrow?) as her father's name in trees on ancestry but I haven't seen any supporting documentation for it.
She married Louis Hypolite Amedee Archambault around 1869. In the 1900 census, it showed she had 9 of 9 living children. They have all been linked to this memorial now. She is buried in Saint Georges Catholic Cemetery in Bakersfield, a beautiful resting place, surrounded by many of her children and grandchildren.
