Obituary for Bertrand Adoue published in the "Dallas Morning News" on March 13, 1938. Page one.

"Banker's Son Is Found Dead - Bertrand Allen Adoue, 19, son of J. B. Adoue Jr., Dallas banker, was found dead of asphyxiation at his home, 3428 Cedar Springs, Saturday afternoon. The body was found by his brother, J.B. Adoue III. Justice of Peace W. J. Stovall rendered a coroner's verdict of asphyxiation, suicidal. Young Adoue, a student at the University of Texas, had returned to his home here for the weekend. Funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of his father from Mexico, where he was on the good will tour of the chamber of commerce. Adoue also is survived by his grandmother, Mrs. J. W. Allen, of El Paso."
