MINSTER, Aug. 16 - Mrs Philomena Reichert, 86, one of the last older living members of the earliest and best known families of this section, died in her home at Osgood Wednesday after a six-month illness of complications. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in St Nicholas Church there. Rev Louis M Bergheger will officiate and interment will be made in the parish burial ground. Born at St Rose, Mercer Co, Aug 31, 1854, she was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs John Hagedorn, prominent in the early history of that section. She married Joseph Reichert, a school teacher for many years, on June 7, 1870. He preceded her in death. Surviving the aged women, who in her youth was known as an exceptionally fine singer, are the following children; August J Reichert, cashier of the Osgood State Bank; Fred J Reichert, Selden, Kan; Rev John B Reichert, pastor of St Francis de Sales Church, Cincinnati; Dr S J Reichert, Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Mrs Mary Stueve, Miamisburg; Mrs Elizabeth Lefeld, Dayton; Misses Magdalyn and Ernestine at home. She leaves 18 grandchildren, three of whom are nuns. There are seven great grandchildren.
