Masie Lea Lunday, 90, of Temple, Texas, died Oct. 24, 2008, in a local hospital.
Service is 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, in the Burkhardt Chapel at the Frederick Cemetery in Frederick, Okla., with interment to follow. The Rev. Leslie Banks will officiate.
She was born to Robert M. and Ollie Sanders Huddleston on Oct. 21, 1918, in Rochelle, Texas. She was married in 1937 to Robert Jessie Lunday Sr. in Frederick, Okla., who preceded her in death in April 1994. Masie worked for Martin Oil Company in Mineral Wells as a secretary and bookkeeper.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Jessie Jr. and Barbara Lunday of Kent, Wash., Stanley and Linda Lunday of Manhattan, Kan., Mike and Sharon Lunday of Rapid City, S.D., and Bruce and Tanya Barkley of Gainesville, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lynn and Glynn Lindsey of Marlin, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Masie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jessie Lunday Sr.; a grandson, Robert Jon Lunday; her parents; and brothers and sisters.
