Born, January 04, 1928, Sally was a true Texan and, although she relocated to California in 1955, and, eventually, settled in Bakersfield, CA to raise her three children, she always missed her friends, family, and home in Hawkins, TX, and spoke of her wonderful memories there often.
She was loved dearly by all who knew her and she did not know a stranger. She was affectionately known as "granny" to just about everyone because of her way of treating each person she met like they were family. She was a member of Valley Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Donny, Jimmy, and daughter, Sue Gaskill (Phil) and brother Derbert Mooney (Wanda) many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Olen Wilbanks, brothers and sister Tom Parker, Ann Wright, John Mooney, James Mooney, Lawrence Mooney, Charles Mooney.
