Mrs. Coverdale was the daughter of the late John & Christine Donovan of Milton, DE. She worked at Milford Stitching Co. for 29 years & recently retired from the Milford School District. She was an active member of the Ladies of the Milford Moose Post 2316, and was also secretary & treasurer. She was a member of the Milford Elks Lodge #2401 and the VFW Post Ladies Auxiliary #6984.
She is survived by her son, John H. Coverdale of Lincoln, DE; daughter, Connie J. deYoung of Dover, DE; 2 grandsons, Jason & Jared deYoung of Dover; & a sister, Betty J. Benson of Milton, DE.
