Franklin L Eidel was a private soldier in Co. E of the 69th Pa. Infantry in the Civil War. Of German stock. His paperwork suggest he for whatever reason used several name aliases. Joined the 69th as Himmelrech. Enlisted on Aug 9th 1864 and mustered out July 1st 1865. Wife's name Amanda. Was a plasterer and odd job man by trade. Said to have died at location called Monocasy Station.
