The following information was submitted by Roy Lockhart of Parkersburg, WV

Bacil C. Lockhart

Bacil C. Lockhart, 79, 1725 Gihon Road, Parkersburg, died March 9, 1911 at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Wirt County, a son of the late Obadiah and Sarah Cox Lockhart. He was retired from the former FMC Viscose with 39 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and was a Baptist by faith.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Ethel E. Lockhart; one step-daughter, Lucille E. Queen of Parkersburg, and four nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Bertha Brinker; and one brother, Noah Lockhart.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Don Beeson officiating.

Burial will be in the Two Run Cemetery, Wirt County.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, and until the hour of services Tuesday.
