Della M. McCord, 95, of Columbus died Friday, May 16, 2008, at 12:15 p.m. at Silver Oaks Health Campus.
Mrs. McCord was a member of Ogilville United Methodist Church and Community Fun & Fellowship Group and was well known for her homemade noodles.
The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. today at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Dennis Zetterberg officiating. Calling will be from 1 p.m. to time of service today. Burial will be at St. Paul‚s Cemetery in Ogilville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ogilville United Methodist Church Building Fund.

Della was born in Bartholomew County on March 4, 1913, the daughter of Edward and Maude Mae Merritt Thomas. She married Glenn McCord on September 1, 1967.
Survivors include her daughter, Loretta A. (Randall W.) Bobb of Columbus; stepchildren, Stanley (Betty) McCord and Glenda Beasley, both of Ogilville and Lodema (Steve) Barrett of Seymour; five grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren, four greatgreat-grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren and 17 step great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McCord was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on April 20, 1991; a son, Sheldon R. Noblitt; brothers, Leno and Willard Thomas; and sisters, Opal H. Hendershot and Pauline Sweeney.
