In Nathaniel's will she was to have "the use of the best room in Nathaniel's mansion house as long as she remained HIS widow." Nathaniel was also a slave owner. According to the book, "The Fish Family in England and America", by Lester Warren Fish, Alice Fish was born July 03, 1702 in Portsmouth, RI. She was a daughter of Robert Fish & Mary Hall. She married Nathaniel Peck on Jan. 14, 1725 in Swansea, MA. Her children were: Thomas, Mary, Comfort, Christian, Abigail and Peleg.
