Turner Enoch, 85, of Palestine, WV, died Friday, May 21, 1999, at Eldercare of Ripley.

He was born in Wirt County, WV, a son of the late Alonzo Bert Enoch and Maggie Lockhart Enoch Roth. He was a farmer, owned a service station and restaurant in Elizabeth, and attended the Independent Fellowship Church, Rayenswood, WV.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Denver and Glenna Enoch of Harrisville, WV, Donald and Dottie Enoch of Ravenswood, and Charles and Donna Enoch of Middlebourne, WV, a son-in-law, Chester Coe of Elizabeth, WV; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-granchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Icy May Lockhart Enoch, in 1980; a daughter, Blanche Coe; and 12 brothers and sisters.

Services were held at Busch Funeral Home, Elizabeth, with Pastor Allen Stewart officiating. Burial followed in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Wirt County.
