Funeral Services For William Sly.
The body of William J. Sly, 71, who died at his home in Dayton Thursday, will be brought to the home of his son, Sanford Sly, today by J. C. Carroll, Tontogany undertaker. The funeral will be held at that home, No. 335 North Grove street, Monday morning at 10 o'clock/ It will be in charge of the Masons of Tontogany to which order Mr. Sly belonged. Mr. Sly was born November 2, 1859. He resided in Bowling Green for many years, being employed on the old C. H. & D., now the B. & O. His run was between Tontogany and North Baltimore for sometime and later he ran on the main line.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Sadie Sly, of Dayton, and four children by a former marriage. The latter are: Sanford, of Bowling Green, Zardie, of Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Fay Young and Mrs. Fern Elder, of Bloomdale.
