He was born Oct. 26, 1895 in Brewster, and during World War I served with the US Army in Europe. He moved to Leavenworth in 1930 and farmed. He was a member of Rocky Reach Barracks, World War I Veterans.
Surviving is his brother, Claude Tuttle, Leavenworth. Braun Funeral home is in charge of Arrangments.
