Funeral rites for G.M. Davis, 78, when he was struck by a cyclone at Ivan, Stephens County, Texas. Funeral services were held at Bluff Dale on Wednesday. Interment in Wesley Chapel cemetery.
His body was taken overland in an Alexander-Hill funeral coach.
Mr. Davis was a brother to Mrs. Fannie Roberson.
Survived by his widow who is seriously ill at the Westside Hospital as a result of injuries received in the storm; five sons - Don A. Davis of Kansas City; Charlie Davis of Kansas City; Tom Davis of Mineral Wells; George and Luke Davis of Ivan; four daughters - Mrs. Rose Slaton of Kansas City; Mrs. Myrtle Norton of Kansas City; Mrs. Ona Seele of Ivan; Mrs. Marion Dooley of Ivan
