Mrs. Nettie Mae Adams Miley Folks, 79, a resident of the Pine Community died
at 6:45 p.m. Thursday at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie.
She was a member of the Central Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Folks is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Vondel and Garland
Webb of Baton Rouge, Bobie and Lavoy Magee of Franklinton, Sybil and Carmon
Costello of Kenner; one brother, D.C. Adams of Bogalusa; five sisters, Beulah
Garland, and Marcelle Willis both of Kenner, Sadie Arlt of Bogalusa, Margie
Ellis of Mt. Hermon, and Geraldine Penton of Angie; eight grandchildren, Tammy
Mendor, Terry Parman, Sonya Angelo, Scott Magee, Jennifer Costello; and nine
great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held in Crain Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Friday and
after 8 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with
Eld. Clyde Cooper and Eld. Doyle Ball officiating.

Burial followed in the Miley Cemetery.

Pallbearers for the service were Bruce Penton, Chad Adams, Randy Meador, Steve
Parnell, Lavon Sheridan, and Donald Wayne Magee.
