Mr. Matsko was born October 21, 1929, in Sharon to Michael and Anna Fedorcak Matsko.
He was a 1948 graduate of Sharon High Schoool and attended Youngstown State University.
An Army veteran, he served in Germany during the Korean conflict.
He retired in 1992 from Armco Inc. - Sawhill Tubular Division, Sharon, with 33 years of service.
He was an active member of St. Ann's Church, Farrell, where he was an Eucharistic minister, commentator and usher.
He was a member of the Slovak Home, Farrell.
Surviving are; his wife, the former Vilma M. Betchie, whom he married April 19, 1958; a daughter Mrs Marcus (Susan M.) Thompson, Fairless Hills, Penna.; three sons, Michael S., Washington D.C.; Vincent J., Quincy, Ill; and John F., Perryopolis, Pa.; four sisters, Vary Valles and Velma Malcolmson, both of Hermitage, Rosemary Fiscella, Hampton, Va.; and Rita Clark, wife of Dr. Eugene Clark, Green Bay, Wis.; two brothers, Charles, Hubbard; and Raymond, Sharon; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death of three brothers, William, Carl, and Daniel; and a sister, Clara.
Burial: St. Ann's Cemetery, Hermitage.
