MRS. CLAUDE A. EMIG
Mrs. Daisy Bortner Emig, 76, wife of Claude A. Emig, died yesterday at 5:50 p.m. at her home in Brodbecks.
She was a member of the Lutheran congregation of St. Jacob’s (Stone) Church and Sunday school and was a resident of the area for 15 years.
Besides her husband she leaves two children, Mrs. Jacob R. Thoman, Hanover, and Mrs. Curvin C. Wehrly, Glen Rock R.D. 2; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister, Spencer W. Bortner, Glen Rock; Pius Bortner, Glenville, and Mrs. Urban Keiser, Brodbecks R.D. 1.
The Rev. Dr. K. S. Ehrhart will conduct funeral services Friday at 2 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Burial will be in Stone Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m.
