CHARLOTTE CAMPBELL, wife of John O. Campbell, was born in New Richmond, Ohio, and died in La Fayette, Ind., May 28, 1891, aged 44 years, 2 months, and 11 days. She was converted when nine years old. In 1867 she became a member of Grace United Brethren Church, and was a true, worthy member until the king of terrors released her. She was the mother of six children. Two sons and the only daughter preceded her to father's house. On the day of her death the writer was in her home. When the dark shadows of eternity were gathering about her she sung, "Psalms of victory, crowns of glory we shall wear." After she had concluded this heavenly refrain, in less than minutes her blood-washed soul was safe with Jesus. Her mortal remains were laid to rest in Greenbush Cemetery, LaFayette, Ind.
