Hazel M. Wolfe, 89, a resident of Ravenwood Nursing Home in Waterloo, and formerly of Oskaloosa, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 1989 at the nursing home. She was born Nov. 20, 1899 at Fremont, the daughter of Enoch P. and Mary E. Alexander Robbins. On Sept. 22, 1920, she was united in marriage with Verl "Bud" Wolfe at Fremont.

She is survived by two daughters, Ruth Cook of Waterloo, and Betty Graham of Des Moines; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Oct. 4, 1967; six brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Newman Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Troxler officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Township Memorial Cemetery at Fremont. Visitation will begin at the funeral home after noon on Sunday. The family will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. to greet family and friends. The Newman Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Services for Hazel M. Wolfe, 89, or Ravenwood Health Care Center, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Newman Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with burial in Cedar Township Memorial Cemetery.

She died Thursday (Jan. 19) at the area center of a heart ailment. She was born Nov. 20, 1899, at Fremont, daughter of Enoch P. and Mary E. Alexander Robbins. She married Verl "Bud" Wolfe Sept. 22, 1920, at Fremont. He died Oct. 4, 1967.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Cook of Waterloo and Mrs. Betty Graham of Des Moines; and four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Visitation will be after noon today at the funeral chapel. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
