Robert J. Pitre, 70, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Galliano, died at 6:57 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Golden Meadow. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in Hebert Cemetery in Galliano.
He is survived by his wife, Rozena Terrebonne Pitre; two sons, Clint J. Pitre and Edison J. Pitre; one brother, Pierre Pitre III; three sisters, Iona Adams, Audrey P. Guidry and Juanita P. Remont; three grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pierre Pitre Jr. and Leonore Lathrop Pitre; one brother, Linwood Pitre.
He was a Catholic.
