Earl had two brothers who preceded him in death, Franklin Ray and Lloyd James Cunningham, as well as his mother and father. One brother, Maurice H Cunningham survived him.
Earl died peacefully July 22, 1982. Survivors are Anita I Bowe whom he married on May 15, 1948. Sons: Harland Ray and Ralph Jerome Cunningham. Daughter: Doris Marie Hines. Three grandchildren: Michelle Marie, Tony Lee and Christal Rae. He will be sadly missed by his family for many, many years. We love you Dad.
NEW ALBANY -- Earl R. Cunningham, 65, of 1671 Longmeadow Drive, died Thursday at his home.
He was a retired employee of the Army Corp of Engineers.
Survivors include his wife, the former Anita Bowe; two sons, Ralph J. Cunningham of English and Harland Ray Cunningham; a daughter, Mrs. Doris Lockwood of Otisco; a brother Maurice Cunningham of Jeffersonville; and three grandchildren.
The body will be cremated.
Seabrook Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
